What is biometric governance?
All Tsubacheck authentication technologies are inherently designed for privacy and certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2013.
Tsubacheck complies with the GDPR (regulation (EU) 2016/679), which means that all biometric images can only be used under agreed and specific terms (user authentication, fraud detection, maintenance of these methods).
The biometric process was extensively tested by an independent company on behalf of the US Department of Homeland Security, using advanced techniques to cheat the system, was successfully blocked.
ISO standards
The technologies used by Tsubacheck comply with the ISO 27001 standard and maintain this status continuously with annual audits.
All biometric process technologies comply with ISO/IEC 30107-3, based on performance evaluation of their presentation attack detection by the UK National Physical Laboratory (NPL), having received Level 1 and Level 2 confirmation by iBeta.
Furthermore, they comply with the EN 319-401 standard, certified by TÜV Informationstechnik GmbH in accordance with clause 24 1(d) of eIDAS and confirmed by the Government of Estonia.
Data Protection
eIDAS 910/2014 is an EU regulation that establishes trust in electronic transactions between individuals, organizations and government entities in European Member States. One of the strong points of the regulation is the issuing and verification of electronic or digital signatures, specifying rules for trust services to simplify and standardise digital signatures in Europe.
The biometric process used in Tsubacheck has been certified as compliant with the applicable eIDAS requirements, as well as the relevant applicable standards ETSI EN 319 401 and ETSI EN 319 411-1/2 for qualified trust service providers issuing qualified certificates.
